Monitorting & Evaluation at Taqwa Clinical Centre
As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen healthcare systems in
Somalia, AIDA Health Advisory Group conducted a Monitoring and
Evaluation (M&E) assessment at Taqwa Clinical Centre in
Mogadishu.
The results were highly encouraging. The clinic
demonstrated exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards,
setting a strong example of infection prevention and control (IPC) in
practice.
Key Findings
✅ Waiting Room: Clean, organised, and welcoming for patients and families.
✅ Patient Rooms: Sanitised and properly arranged to minimise infection risks and enhance patient safety.
✅ Toilets: Maintained to a high hygiene standard, ensuring dignity and safety for all visitors.
This milestone is especially significant as Taqwa Clinical Centre was the first clinic we engaged in Mogadishu under our IPC strengthening program. Their dedication reflects the positive outcomes that can be achieved when healthcare providers and AIDA work together toward safer and healthier environments.
“Clean environments save lives. Taqwa’s achievement shows how local clinics can lead the way in raising healthcare standards.”
